Liquidscapes (2018)
Inspired by the liquidscape that surrounds Somerset, this interactive installation encourages the public
to consider the perspective on water. With the water a familiar, yet distance face in the community, the
installation provides an opportunity to interact with water.
Upon placing your hands in one of the numerous vessels of water, a different section of moving image
would be played on the screen in front. Each moving image is an unusual perspective of water, these have
been edited to emphasise the abstractness. Incongruous sounds and technical elements within the
installation create an otherworldly atmosphere and enhance the element of curiosity and wonder.
